ENTREPRENARIUM is a leading pan-African organization dedicated to sustaining the growth of African Women micro, small and medium enterprises (WMSMEs).
African women represent a key pillar of the private and collective spheres of african economy. They also represent the highest percentage of women entrepreneurs in the world with a rate of 25,9% in sub-Saharan Africa.
Although their formal and informal business activities have a clear impact on the well-being of their families and communities, African women entrepreneurs still face multiple challenges. These challenges include access to finance ie.lending, traditional collateral and guarantees and lack of financial knowledge.
We design training and technical assistance programs to support African women in their entrepreneurial journey. As soon as our beneficiaries reach the accurate level of business maturity, we provide a personalized assistance to ensure their access to finance with our financial institutions’ partners.
Since 2014, we have supported over 3,000 entrepreneurs through our programs and invested in 52 businesses across Africa.
To date, Entreprenarium graduates created over 12,000 jobs in 15 countries.
